  Set amongst ranges of tall sandhills and smaller sand dunes, the Course is a true test of golf for all golfers. • Hesketh Golf Club
  Set amidst the towering Victorian villas of Southport's premier residential area - Hesketh Park - is The Hesketh Golf Club, the town's oldest golf club, founded in 1885. Standing alone on the crest of a tall sandhill, the clubhouse dominates the golf course, and the surrounding district.

  Formby Hall Golf and Country Club is the North West of England's premier function / event location and can cater for practically all types of corporate, social and public events. A relatively new arrival in England's Golfing Capital but few courses anywhere have made the switch from marshland, or indeed farmland in such a grand, spectacular and successful style.

• West Lancashire Golf Course
  Founded in 1873, WEST LANCASHIRE is the oldest golf club surviving in the county of Lancashire and is among the top ten oldest golf clubs in England.

• Formby Club Golf Club

• Hurlston Hall Golf Club
  Hurlston Hall Golf Club welcomes individuals and groups at all levels of experience to its superb undulating 18-hole, par 72 golf course. Set in 135 acres of beautiful parkland just a few miles from Southport, the course was designed by Donald Steel and opened in 1994.

• Mossock Hall Golf Club

• Southport Old Links Golf Club
  Southport Old Links is not the biggest or indeed the best-known golf course in town, but it is among the oldest. Golf was first played here in the late 1800s, before many big and famous clubs had their first monthly medal or cut the fairways with the horse-drawn mowers for the first time. It is small only in being 9-holes. But in the length of its holes it is king-sized, a truly demanding test of golf and a delightful golfing experience.

• Southport Municipal Golf Club
  Every golfer loves their local municipal. For many it is where they hit their first real golf balls, on a real course, rather than on the beach or a local field.
